About Us

Hi, I’m Madison! Welcome to Blooming Acres!

What started as a few flower beds quickly became more than just a fun hobby. Every season I found myself planting more blooms and making my garden just a little bigger. I have always loved gardening and grew up watching my mom and my grandma grow gardens full of vegetables and flowers.  

So… here we are.

Blooming Acres is a small family flower farm and self-serve roadside stand located just outside of Sherrill, Iowa. 

I’m a wife, mom to two little helpers, pharmacist, gardener, and baker. 

I love to grow beautiful flowers and am excited to share these with others. 

Along with my husband, Pete, we raise mini-Hereford cattle and are USDA inspected and certified for retail beef sales. 

Our roadside stand offers:

• Flower bouquets

• Fresh picked garden produce as seasonally ready

• Sourdough and other baked goods when advertised or by request

• Farm fresh eggs when available
